WHAT EXACTLY IS NAME DELINEATION?  According to the Illustrated Heritage Dictionary the word 'delineate' means "to represent pictorially, to depict in words."  The name is a hieroglyph of spiritual power.  Even in history the concept of 'the name' has been equated with character and destiny.  'Name giving' has always been an important rite.  This rite dates back, and is a reflection of a long ago goldern age when magic, religion and reality were all one.  The name is a vehicle of one's power and personal magic.  Through learning what the individual letters in one's particular name means the person can find out what is to be learned about his or her CHARACTER and DESTINY.  This is learned by evaluating each letter of each name.  This can be done in two ways.

 

The first way - Name Delineation is a science that dates back to the ancient letters in the Hebrew alphabet, their derivation and their meanings.  It is known as the Kabalistic system.  Each Hebrew letter of that era had a name, and assumed a character, denoting that name and its attributes.  In our time, by using the letters of the Hebrew alphabet with their symbolism and then matching these letters with the corresponding letters of the English alphabet, we are able to expose and understand the hidden meaning of each letter.  This enables us to access the ancient wisdom, which frees the real meaning of our contemporary alphabet for personal enlightenment.

 

The second way - This method is based on the teachings of Pythagoras, the Father of Mathematics.  Pythagoras believed that "all things are numbers" and that numbers represent various facets of a spirituality whose presence is felt in all existence.  He also believed that each letter had a numeric value, which allowed them to be interpreted on a basic 1 + 1 = 2 mathematical level.  These numeric values, with their corresponding qualities, were then assigned to the letters of the English alphabet.
